买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

7 a% H! v7 T7 }, k( ^0 D  j$ TYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:/ b1 v! a! W. I$ }$ R* h
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
, X0 `! z& ^, c2 S- n& S•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
2 ]/ S( v2 d$ K5 N: mSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。

A qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.9 G6 x" j; U* M# I3 `9 p

The following are considered qualifying homes:

    single-family houses;

    apartments in duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, or apartment buildings.

6 R7 _( a2 b( m: uA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 7 c9 B& a, s$ N

3 I5 w: F, W) L2 }5 I9 ^; DThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.' c; F, p1 }) ~% K) q
7 }) K% V! y7 K- Q) h+ U! O
When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.7 c" m! ~- s5 {+ U; r+ o4 b
