information that will make your transition to the University community

0 i1 W( [# v5 e+ O Z0 bBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 4 j3 @- t& F* n& d- L
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend : [1 k4 U( y3 J; k* M* L
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ' B* G y. X$ G& _
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you & C# ^9 |( r/ G9 C8 P3 ^
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ! c" c1 B2 p4 e! R. y- @, N* U, a
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 1 g E- |6 J' d/ o q' g
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
& E d4 e8 b- R+ b0 Cyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
3 w) ]3 q3 \0 M5 ^. Jof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
( I* i; N1 t) a% Q" \0 A) gComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 6 z ^8 }8 y& V. Q
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
- r8 l: S/ w& c. ]bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
' m; w( [0 w0 o) ]5 |! o" J* p( xtwo days of Orientation).: k6 ^9 P, S. h4 c$ u
