(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
" k' ?/ M" y z# m/ |of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 8 ?1 N) }( o$ F$ b X
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
, t, s+ Z- H" D5 _7 Yof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
# X+ A8 v0 x( V' n7 T% x. v: n* Eactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend z$ m6 ^. X- v. i* x: a- d
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday - h( i' g2 O' e, z- `. m
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in " l- i8 Y7 D3 j
Hawrelak Park.

0 l3 @. ?: A+ _ Z2 I9 T( oYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 2 K4 ]$ j, Z7 }# @
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
& w# j/ m4 [$ C6 H" S& {and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you + C5 l9 X0 a P0 L. P8 n
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
/ n' d' { G1 Q. Z5 F& ?( n( G! Tyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 6 g2 ]. |) W" Z% D
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ) J6 }) }" f6 r
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece + C/ U% R& U( k$ e0 c* T& G
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ) M& P, n* {2 u8 P% M y
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic % f2 ]3 Y' o; _" ^$ f
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and % J; C* [2 \ [' N! I
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the : ^7 [# A. `6 k5 Q9 |0 j8 Z/ D
two days of Orientation).
