Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

9 L2 A/ `4 X H2 v9 c, v8 N' Rlike to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups 7 b, T) r& s& a; Y. Q6 j" \; U2 q
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 4 B2 z1 V" r8 p6 X- K' E
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of s3 D w5 L% N+ \2 O6 J
information that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds

) G" b: _, I& s* D$ x5 Zlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth g0 ?" I2 S; W* L: A

. m5 D; @( a5 DBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
/ u( b% B2 e. w# q7 Y' Y& c: ractivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
& a( l5 Q c+ _; @a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
+ Q# L1 O9 F/ hevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
8 {& \# N. H. s5 BHawrelak Park.
* ]! H1 E' ?" J7 x& U
2 G1 u( M0 |% a$ gYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
- f9 y9 k3 q. Y/ E* ySeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
+ O3 U1 `3 I- m( Uand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
, }$ m3 e7 _: Sto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 3 c, U+ ]/ m& R
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
* X/ n, R/ ?' Z. |7 T+ ^ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process : e. b4 V5 v7 @7 [
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece * D! \, k, f) x4 r
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 5 A0 H4 G& E( N& m3 }6 a( G
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
, @" P6 k, u) |9 yInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
: t0 y) ]8 d" K# J" L& _bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
: O! G& ]& y( c& mtwo days of Orientation).
