If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit 1 o9 s( k# Q* O* x

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
% z9 F. m; k" v& ]of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

* X9 h1 C% d* F0 d) T; V& B+ V$ P% o! tBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 7 l$ r" z& l8 z1 v# @
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
5 T; N x' _. [; Ia variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ! ^$ v& j8 n$ E
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 7 K6 l" d; I, n
Hawrelak Park.+ X; E: i; Z7 H0 O3 i
+ W0 R' Y% f7 `! j: hYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
9 T( z! q" E) [4 f3 v! JSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
' E' G! b) \% oand then continue to meet with for the entire year.7 W) k) |6 U- t; J0 l5 V5 f' l8 t
% F) p; l8 \; H% z; \* u f- i ~& [0 JBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
7 l2 }$ U. B: _+ Tto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
1 [4 c* h" Z4 }& {1 [$ b* M: B' Yyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
+ B. m1 b2 n3 Y' g& JONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
8 `7 f" V% g. |. o" w- m! Jyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
/ b8 d$ U1 \% N; L, a" Qof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
1 f& y' E/ t! S5 SComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
/ I4 r& w% H! b: zInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
: W+ a8 [; T7 v3 S1 }bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ' E5 }$ O4 T) g6 d4 s+ N
two days of Orientation).
