Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

" n7 f" X6 Q# }    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
+ n, X1 P* w+ d# k  Z    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
- ]2 N6 O& X  D" e; F    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
& m+ m/ H/ A4 Q( k7 t$ B    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives

2 [% L* L& U/ F& S' ?' E# ^The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

5 l* _5 t) u) T8 e" C6 H, v: M. _    High School and or Post Secondary Education
2 v( g, [1 ]# y! M! ?    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
. A" k6 G- V' e    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
: U- L& a* U/ V1 ~+ j/ L4 f5 Y; }    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
