To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required. w9 U0 z5 u1 s- w' I$ M

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
. A1 |( k8 o. q2 C1 W) Z) T Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business3 U4 U. x: E5 @( f! \ C, Y
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients I4 _2 w2 `7 g. [; `
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
) T! Q0 x8 }) Q& c; w* \ Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals4 j5 ^1 f+ H3 l9 f9 y
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes& @3 t/ X7 r' P
Actively participate in training initiatives8 o$ c3 ^- |% J; ?2 o
Participate in community marketing initiatives

7 W9 K9 S4 A4 g) |The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

) @$ P& d: ]% \/ B! c High School and or Post Secondary Education
2 g, Z) X- {7 G% [! U2 d3 i Previous customer service experience
1 u% d. o' Y ~! ^ `2 O Previous sales experience an asset
: P1 ?( |$ I9 Z6 N* G4 T General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
5 |0 r" C/ `! M0 G! } Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully+ r/ D6 s5 ^; d% \+ }& u. I, l7 N
Strong analytical and organizational skills. B3 A: a- D( ]% O& N7 A
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
