Position Summary:: B, _' G7 k% f( j
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

" n7 f" X6 Q# } Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals2 [) T* Q8 d5 r7 W
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
+ n, X1 P* w+ d# k Z Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
- ]2 N6 O& X D" e; F Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
& m+ m/ H/ A4 Q( k7 t$ B Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals! T. {: ]2 J% b k' C. S( C6 k6 F
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes2 z2 d0 u4 i6 e: n' i4 L
Actively participate in training initiatives

2 [% L* L& U/ F& S' ?' E# ^The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

5 l* _5 t) u) T8 e" C6 H, v: M. _ High School and or Post Secondary Education
2 v( g, [1 ]# y! M! ? Previous customer service experience, R% a$ \3 O, b# `% R
Previous sales experience an asset
. A" k6 G- V' e General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
: U- L& a* U/ V1 ~+ j/ L4 f5 Y; } Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
$ _; o( Q% t5 w4 c6 _2 N Strong analytical and organizational skills% p4 m5 R* W9 G0 E& n: t
Excellent verbal and written communication skills# N2 d! b2 W( |; g
