1 W" m+ Q! w6 p, @3 e& `•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services " U4 o; E+ z3 A0 I
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies \. }, r: c+ f G
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
! c, p: l" t8 w( `* m•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.% Y1 w0 C+ b' o( C
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

0 _) f4 ^* G' i- \•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;- C( `. W1 b) g/ T3 C- X+ v/ S1 e, b
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
, v) J1 a( A z& X8 {6 d% d- U•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! ?4 a% h. x) f# C3 ]* C* H Y9 \•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
1 E3 Z% p. e/ Z$ ]7 ~, v•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
