Key Responsibilities are as follows:5 e! S6 K" W% ~ ?# W+ M
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 8 `" r8 }. S) C) L8 |7 c
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
" y3 G. x2 q+ m3 Z" v& B' P% v0 T% z•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
5 S2 z# v0 Y8 Z# W•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
l: Y* x4 g3 Q' I v% Y! m•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
: v8 u, J, L. I) G8 u3 B•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
! h& k- u* I+ r D/ p! y9 d! J•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;$ \0 N% S, M9 H/ d
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
/ Z$ `! w+ N9 D( }7 t•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.( l0 b( N+ Q& m
