7 Z3 G# B. V* j•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
H8 H. B+ @& i, i3 v0 U5 g9 B•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies# Y( V! a4 z+ ^' B. q. J9 \
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
, M! |9 b( c- R6 @1 N) v•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.. U4 U2 D' L6 K
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

, U- T/ q7 T( i- Z' m•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;9 Y% \- D' N f" ^2 l6 }
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
% u( ~# L, `5 f/ E& T, |•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;" _3 j- L+ e6 [3 x, l
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
6 A/ l; @3 o. |' S. S6 c% ?& d9 ?•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.! B! X: n5 h- {/ @2 L" O" m6 ?
