• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
* g' \! U: {1 h @• Oversee hotel security requirements.
& H4 }- c: G0 ^& k) E7 ]1 R: n• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.6 e7 H6 r3 r0 Q* l. V* ~
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 2 e3 m9 ~# r0 W. ~* p4 M$ Y# S
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.5 m8 M" H( }& m2 `: `4 u/ p7 X b7 V$ A
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
% r3 d4 V. ], J" x" m1 Q/ L• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests. E, j: Q- N; p0 U; w
• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
& r$ H0 N0 s$ v+ s: z) j% y* {• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
& L0 l: \! v9 t0 `8 V• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.

• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
, l! N# z! R3 p9 D• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.

0 X" p$ \- L" z' m8 c• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.3 E1 O0 L4 p, M) ~* M- M& b
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department : E7 t2 p+ v9 j0 I* V- u
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies/ r7 B& `8 Q4 q
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center. t7 d. |1 `- q. u9 P% B
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float ; E$ A4 y+ r) s! r; X7 f7 h: M( `
• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager& T6 S3 l; a$ {. ~# b# j V3 q

2 w% U% h5 D: p: b' X•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property+ X6 v- a: R0 g# a O
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;

• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;

• Ability to work within deadlines;
