To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.- R! n2 L# H# s$ b" i* K3 N

# ^7 ]' p8 J7 y+ S• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
7 h4 d; {+ U+ v• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;! |# ?5 x) r, y, k; }# r* k
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
  t2 D8 r: r, a9 C, a  |* ]• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
4 S' \# q& Z% \• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.: O7 t! L* ?9 d' H% m* P1 p7 Y: j
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
* F6 t- Y! p. t$ z, |0 `• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
3 m8 Z4 \6 a# c- {• Participate in trade shows;4 {7 v9 l8 h" i" r; p9 e- x
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;1 G; h* C; I4 s- c, b3 Z
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
. d, n6 @  I/ ?, i/ V/ t1 A• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:. w9 K# I+ n/ R( U
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
7 K  V; |1 z; M9 }) ?' _5 M• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
) Y/ n- A; H( X, l$ [• Ability to lead and develop;
, {8 r7 U6 P" E$ H6 K• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
; B* ~* f) Y% x. {* u• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
" M: w* N  N4 P# U• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;2 Z  `7 Y! P* }  s; X$ O
• Ability to work within deadlines;
