To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.0 @+ {" {, O9 D% t# G7 U, ~# F
) W& j) S( l& s) Y5 Y& Y: g
• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.* h2 X4 O0 y- k
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;7 E9 `1 ^- B8 m! i9 d! g) ?
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;. G4 C# O- N. v% ]# i
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;# `" g0 Z% N9 E$ L- U! l
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
, F  Q5 L& X9 T& Q+ Z5 U3 C• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;; G. }- a7 Q0 A( _* o1 Z
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;0 B# G" j) y( _0 p! p& s
• Participate in trade shows;3 M3 r2 T8 W  `6 y  b" _4 L
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;4 t+ q1 D* C- K  c2 k
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
9 \& n  H% ?/ O0 s; H• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
% a" k1 q  Z9 P4 W" z0 q• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;% g- n" b5 @- n0 ?

! Z/ ]5 ]% Q, h% [' x•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property5 i" {1 ~$ }3 ~5 C; q2 Z$ J
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
0 @+ x# _4 m5 ^& d! t- K• Ability to lead and develop;
8 V% _; u& D. X* q) B# I• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
9 L" z0 O: V( _7 W/ {* K• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;) W4 Z4 ]0 `# w& M  U
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;4 c" N' N' G$ x4 ?7 I
• Ability to work within deadlines;
