Location: 15620 – 131 AVE, NW. Edmonton. 780-482-2010
Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
1 A! x  M! _, {6 v3 q/ {- zYour Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

1 F9 B/ y# u% Y6 g) T0 DDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
7 G& K2 D% i& HRequisition parts and materials, as required.
3 L! A# Z6 J$ m' v( d2 ACreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
) o' @" N4 V# y' d5 _" LProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
$ @8 u+ D8 s3 C, O7 K3 _Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.

+ }7 N/ Y) S4 N2 O/ _3 R% g% RApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
1 c; L* R. `/ P# k. I3 H5 sApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications
: W- n- h3 f0 i2 Z! KOnly education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
A Driving Abstract with no more than six demerit points (current within three months) must be provided if contacted for an interview.
