Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)

( N2 m2 N  p3 A9 D+ a" e# b) IHours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.


Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

, i1 k5 q2 B' z* pDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
0 c- \6 n8 ~0 dRequisition parts and materials, as required.
- ~: Q: C, ?+ I% ~; q$ {" z6 G% ?Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
4 p( `" ?, y. u' O$ S( {' v; bProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
Other assigned duties.

! t) l1 p* T! `" c. |, O
Applicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.
