- g1 z2 Z: d2 S7 X·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
! u; @4 z# n3 p( E
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
+ |* p  e+ c/ O% t7 h) @) n0 q
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
' {# E2 W, f  ?1 U
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must
/ ?5 i# e2 b6 R2 y3 n6 B3 N
·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

3 O& ^* `/ k" |7 C9 r0 ~5 T·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

5 C  R* X' ?5 _. R% S9 P·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

  t- L/ Q) E" R% P: h·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

Work Conditions

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
