Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
; _9 ]) b8 e6 Z+ e
- X; w2 J, `  {7 J. t, w) Y•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

% u* p) [3 Z2 q) j8 l•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
•        have at least 3 years of international work experience in their field
•        have little or no career related Canadian work experience
•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
•        are legally able to work in Canada
