•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
8 E- |( h4 e7 o! \0 N8 i& H6 v' @
•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

; Q) G! _8 i/ w0 l( }•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

8 `  Y+ L( r# p8 o/ a•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment

$ Y! g! T5 [4 s0 q- L•        have little or no career related Canadian work experience
8 }3 l9 E- {& Q4 V7 R•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
•        are legally able to work in Canada
