' X6 f( Y$ }) K4 G- t•        Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
6 p( T# _+ d9 R7 S) ?: i4 g( w•        Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
( [! G' S4 A, ^2 Y- l9 `/ I  X•        Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
•        Sell merchandise to customers
' r# t; {/ C) Q# g: T% s. [% I' k' d•        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
•        Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
% X" s1 M0 x3 ^•        Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
•        Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff
