Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

* }7 Q- ]+ z' [9 l•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
* L- h& `- o5 v- t) [•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
- j1 Q( T$ K( e, |0 @" Z•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
" _8 E' R' @! |) J7 H& C# ]7 C•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
5 p, ]) P0 \6 J) _3 ~. f•        Completion of secondary education is required
0 A+ F- c3 C; ?1 E* f1 R- ~•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
% U. r5 B; _4 G2 G5 |•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
# v- C2 J; M3 @1 J# d! Q•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
