Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
9 d$ ]- M9 ?( _# i1) Any bodily injury or death;
' q" {% j: k' Q4 ]2) A Hit-and-Run;
+ L* @4 W2 D. O# y' O3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
2 C8 J# ?4 D) c: ?4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
: T* O& L* T" @/ C* R5) An out-of-province vehicle./ F5 X. Z, ?) ?% V5 @* d6 o
( O9 D5 P2 v& ^8 yNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.+ {% G) o+ b, l6 b
