Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.+ r5 v- s1 S8 v9 n: U2 c
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

+ t# Z, ?. F6 l' K, N' [ N, `0 j• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
/ o4 n1 m0 u- O n/ t' t• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
6 \, S$ S, J1 L1 u, H9 d; `• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.3 i" M! L: N. @; f9 r' s
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
& n4 Q1 j5 M% l• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
; _# C9 Y% w7 J& T: W% Q1 p- k• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.' ^0 P7 O' `/ L7 X+ F" s* J7 ]
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
8 Q- O" s: G" ]& y; U( B8 ~• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).3 O) a- C( Y. q+ Z: @$ t
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
( P6 O% i$ |8 R3 E. @+ Y: a• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

Requirements:+ c8 {- m3 t& F* E7 T5 n3 v
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ) r5 C2 S6 }) M4 ?# c
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
$ f0 e5 N) @& Y4 h• Strong Union Relations experience required. * d( f" r* O3 G; I9 s
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
