Description
5 z# E7 e1 L# v8 o" Y& UTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
5 r3 d. ^- u; L. R! jReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
0 q) ~* F8 S8 y9 N4 O! L•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
* A/ p6 W; b+ W•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
4 q' {" S+ {2 l. d  C3 j, |& A•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.: U8 m3 b8 U/ ]& ]
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.% X; L* Q  d& i
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
* D" ~+ Z" H' `( \( z6 i•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
" a( Z5 m  ^0 P9 l2 E•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.7 }" _$ o, P% _$ X  T% H4 Y, `
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.2 t& E6 {3 k! F5 P
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
" r  R, s4 B* A* D•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
8 `" a; B  I" Q•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
3 ^/ F( I/ {* Y! y) C4 t- N$ d•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.. k' h' s2 B4 L- D# [) X
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
$ U: i  s. N# {2 U, @; }5 V' s•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
7 l, F4 C( c5 _$ C•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.' w, i+ a3 {+ f* ?

Qualifications8 \8 Y' N; W$ a- q2 i* Z
Requirements:( P0 C1 P5 Q% ~+ D
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
4 ?0 j* r- r: p  p5 n; S•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
9 y2 S) t7 Q+ |4 r: M•        Strong Union Relations experience required. " X  v3 u! E# l8 l: m& \
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
9 k6 D8 I0 h! w- I•        CHRP Designation is an asset.# S9 w2 n; y+ P; `6 q$ ?! ^4 C& u8 B) F
