Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' a; X8 t8 x7 q. v•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: D8 A8 `$ o! u' i/ W•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
1 d) j# q) [2 T( D* r& h$ C•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
6 j, W5 m2 G) P" g+ R•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
' X6 z' ^. l& \6 j+ s) ]8 J- A5 _•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
/ [4 h% q! O- F& d( E- M6 l4 E•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
8 i: @# y2 P) p2 g0 h8 w, v8 o•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
+ Q  t$ M5 F! ]. N' R) n•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
% _+ A' j$ k' |' Y•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
2 Z/ F" {& |  b9 @' p9 j•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
