Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
$ i, u3 x% p1 h! S& C P• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.% I* y% [5 P: ]: @
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
4 A% v9 } E% W, _+ M• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
+ T' u1 X3 b) }) \5 [2 h• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.( m& a$ i+ S/ ^6 F
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
, J8 U4 D# o/ i9 o• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
4 C8 b0 n/ c5 J• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
1 _; q7 p$ N7 D% } a• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers./ m2 L8 }5 I- g& z2 i1 X) u
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).

• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.; S h2 s% T6 M% T
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.# |+ y8 b3 D+ `6 ? u: S
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Requirements:$ V5 ^% ] c {
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 0 q, d4 v1 E1 x
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. . a, Y" R2 x& R/ I: r0 a6 U
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
& |$ }7 r1 U4 D- I, x) V6 `, ]' f• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
9 F, ^7 S5 n y• CHRP Designation is an asset.
