• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- _1 L. S% H& O4 F1 i9 O• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
K9 @ e! H; i* w• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.2 u4 L0 L0 D6 C, D" Y. r: r8 B
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 7 H; I" G/ N8 w0 [
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.+ Y, c! A" z& @( w7 ]) O9 f
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
3 X6 }# @. r! H2 c( I+ @# i% m. Q+ m• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.+ P$ Y+ @/ }- _7 P# A3 F
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).: z: t8 p- X$ n7 F
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
% i2 v5 C( i8 {Requirements:2 m" _6 E! R9 F \' U, j
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
) m9 X5 _& P5 z; _- j• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
0 Z( S' ?) \6 h# s! H. @• Strong Union Relations experience required. 7 c: ` H- H- [& B7 m
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
) @0 b; b. m1 m9 Y• CHRP Designation is an asset.
