Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:& T! I5 |: I, {% z: f
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.) ~( i! \: j5 P) X
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
  o/ T7 P* t# @. F5 ]& A2 h% t•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
7 o+ c4 j7 u& M/ q•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues." l, G% p/ O- C0 ^  H) K/ w
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. * X: n+ b& C9 Y* B" d- w: c4 T
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.6 O7 t3 \$ I( @4 p4 {
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.5 o6 P  [! _8 |' O& F7 S
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
4 i1 ]/ p8 y& @•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
0 m4 i" H3 U2 }# S& K•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
: |/ o8 u6 ?2 b& e. E; z•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
8 b' N. M  q0 N3 i4 {•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.2 i" T' `( J2 {, w
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
1 ?# E' A4 n! c3 x•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
/ _5 d' r( m" u0 Q6 @& Q•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
" r& q/ f5 R, F& R8 tRequirements:0 |2 N3 p' Y% D' [) n) @
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 7 l: P7 B# E1 a
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- l, c( H: H& P•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 5 X9 Z" ^9 E1 V6 K7 u1 w$ ^
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
$ ?# n7 |9 Z$ x•        CHRP Designation is an asset.% w% z: K' r* c, \
