0 [- o6 o2 z) T" x• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
5 v& j$ n( ?$ X9 B8 T! h• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
! {% N4 l g3 s' B& {• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
6 W$ T, M( X+ V" W" c9 m, E" b3 R• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
! B4 M5 h# o3 d7 H9 M• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
d6 W5 d, t1 }6 E& |4 _( H• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
9 I7 Y/ D, Q1 K! N4 Z• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools8 F& E( Y( c! z$ {7 Q1 E- ^5 q
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
4 i5 |$ z) u) l) [% p: n3 S& D1 Q• Mix paint, blend and match colors

• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
. ~, o0 L$ a# R1 ~• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation

Education and Experience Requirements:
' m' U0 U: K6 D6 v- q• Completion of secondary school is required
1 A; N- [; k5 u) B• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program ! s# g; f6 u( C6 H$ [/ u
or
0 e+ k& ~9 [, k7 v9 [6 p cA combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
