Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
+ d- g8 b- {% q  k  fMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
8 x3 S4 {( C6 o7 Ro        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
6 Q7 L7 W( ?) \$ n* [3 g•        Assist where needed in application questions.
) K) b1 j8 H+ b# L•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
$ C& C; r$ K0 m/ \% bo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
3 A+ `  ^9 r  H% `/ U+ j9 K  {o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
9 Q( ^0 |1 [7 K- L( o: r2 ]o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
) ?: G1 X- ]2 s7 X( L* j/ ?$ E8 @o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
/ ?3 P: j. E4 u9 M•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
( R( C: h5 C0 R& ]List of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
8 a: `  J* G% T6 z•        Proficient in software use and writing.
! K! K7 _6 T8 U•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
+ e9 U9 v. N4 Y2 F•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
