Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
1 }$ u  F0 ^7 |) W•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. f( S2 K% T& R$ J8 Xo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
* x9 K1 G, T7 J•        Track and report all warranty failures
( T/ u) |. m2 {+ @! ko        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 o. B2 p) `* D! p7 w# uo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
; T8 h! f, D' e•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! a, h. z) j8 q4 Q! H2 Eo        Assist in writing and new product specification
( j# N* D: u/ \1 @o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
4 n" K0 ~2 {1 N/ K) u. xo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
3 P/ j% K0 ?- J: I' |; g& u•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
) V  P1 K. `! c- J" tProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
8 ~5 x3 o" ^$ G, T8 Y•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
3 J" b( h: z* b% K•        Proficient in software use and writing.
1 d+ M$ B4 l& r3 `& q•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
: g; U3 r9 F) L- O•        Ability to travel worldwide.
+ q1 s9 v" m1 v0 _5 o% b9 d* D•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
