Scope and Purpose of Job: R, E1 F( g# L1 @# h
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
1 }$ u  F0 ^7 |) W•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.8 `( E# y. _: q/ d$ @( ]0 [
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. f( S2 K% T& R$ J8 Xo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release+ j0 V1 n1 V$ o- @& i0 F
•        Assist where needed in application questions.% Y& u8 H' }# ^" Z+ J" H
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.( P  O8 {% s6 A9 T
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures# k) A- P! P2 z% z& q
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
* x9 K1 G, T7 J•        Track and report all warranty failures
( T/ u) |. m2 {+ @! ko        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 o. B2 p) `* D! p7 w# uo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
; T8 h! f, D' e•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.! d/ f) ]; R4 v( ^
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports& j  U! i3 H+ T, r4 n
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! a, h. z) j8 q4 Q! H2 Eo        Assist in writing and new product specification
( j# N* D: u/ \1 @o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Assist in Sales support & training.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers; F3 ^9 ~. S9 c; @4 T
List of Skills/Qualifications       
8 ~5 x3 o" ^$ G, T8 Y•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.  M5 W. K0 g4 J8 D- j
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
3 J" b( h: z* b% K•        Proficient in software use and writing.
1 d+ M$ B4 l& r3 `& q•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
: g; U3 r9 F) L- O•        Ability to travel worldwide.
+ q1 s9 v" m1 v0 _5 o% b9 d* D•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
