, r) m4 g3 j1 HPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 0 y9 g8 {' |% S* x4 y

Key Responsibilities:
+ G1 u: f# q* {$ P• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person* [3 \( c1 W9 ?$ E- @
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
% T( Q: m" x& a5 F• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
: V# H1 \7 a$ R, }) _• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter% X8 z5 F: ?! \ B* F4 z( p5 Q
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
) k3 j* d C5 [8 y% [! D5 M• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents: I) m5 a9 p* l @" z5 ^ t
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
- I, N* ^- c' W; T7 Q8 E• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events; H7 \# M3 ~. s/ L
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events& Z5 p# G4 C3 M+ B2 N3 |4 y- A
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
/ H' r, C9 L! O+ l* G1 i& X; P• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:6 G! n- N3 V/ }8 \4 a5 o- S
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
1 T! x: m; q5 I/ d# ^0 _3 j• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
2 l, N6 g) @% I [, A9 ]• Good English writing and oral communication skills" h- i, K1 f7 M) l+ X3 A$ m* U
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients; k( F' X6 K, e) O
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

Qualifications:
3 N: G, L' Q B5 W• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ' h& E5 k: R! @" \
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment! A5 s4 G3 Z1 G- H/ e
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
" ~ s" W$ N" R8 y• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
) u# e& e; W) ^8 G5 h$ Y
