The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
+ }. J5 n3 d7 M  A4 c7 ^• Program implementation
, g# V  d6 U0 L6 C  z5 q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
, v. s2 Z7 ]+ O1 R! i# `• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

, S) v& D) @* u: iMinimum Qualifications:
Education
: H( U* F' M( G- ]6 Z" r$ _• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
* j! ?' X* ]: n; u" [1 t& ATraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
2 B2 r; Q. S( t5 L4 I• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
  E7 v+ P6 T2 }) z• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
