The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

% w3 U' \9 f2 ?; a/ lResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
) r% A' X/ e2 @" ?4 |$ v3 \2 a• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
. r! x6 f1 S7 D• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
; y0 z. o0 ^8 \2 b: U• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

- p6 o! C$ c$ ~& V+ ~Minimum Qualifications:
3 O! a5 [0 x  a. ~Education
: @  y; |  H5 s/ T. W5 L5 q• Completion of a high school diploma
: O. n. R. [5 P  Z. |• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
9 e# w  {4 g7 T' OTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
+ U0 E0 @8 `- E% a. U4 ?' L# d• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
7 O1 w1 v6 o$ ^' @0 s9 J6 M• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
$ W+ f8 H& ?% R( Y$ u  s3 n5 A• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

5 z  Z% q8 H3 y8 C, G' G+ }Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
0 c( N3 q& P3 x• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
7 w9 e& w: }. w) WSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
