The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
1 y) n5 U* y' C5 R" m• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
: {6 d* L; |. _- A9 Q4 H& u• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
7 _5 L; M- Y" B• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

* P' h: G/ p6 G: b0 tMinimum Qualifications:
Education
( u* @5 o( Y: n  j; G; p• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
$ b2 t1 T3 w/ f2 e% w3 x# Q' {Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

: |4 E& \* U: f! T! g• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
7 j7 o7 f: K& }• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
1 u' o% D4 e2 x) c0 J  a• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
! N% y7 y! I6 t; L7 Q) BSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
