The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

% b! c) M; H% j, b6 I# Y% p$ i. j• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
: ^, i6 v9 Z9 o• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
: I5 A7 S( ^) p: U• Medication Administration
: b  j/ v" N# a• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

) t, M5 h. s2 D$ I" A/ ~6 r& kMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
5 \" k! k# G* L& n4 K" }: I8 D• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ s4 |9 B0 I3 G1 ]Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
