The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
5 D" l$ s! i) b$ G+ A• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
) X" W- h2 |0 _6 {• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
- j- v% p( Y  |( \) [, V# K9 f• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
3 i: H& M0 {9 M5 R9 U' i• Completion of a high school diploma
! d* f4 N* z, p% V• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
: O- m1 P# ?8 q% y/ W8 C) x• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
