The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

' f% T* n! s$ S3 h& U• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
: G6 E: o: }1 G! ^/ w! @$ d• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
) m- E# I" W6 N3 f" a4 j• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
2 ?% j1 ~/ E+ S/ `+ y/ o/ H& I• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

  ]9 D: }4 T6 `0 G) C  l" t( [Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
9 T5 P6 F7 ?* zTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
3 X" B8 C3 `$ M& Z/ ^• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

6 g6 H: W7 N! D. G; }, E• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
5 s, l: V; ]6 @7 P0 X3 k• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
