! V- ?; c( G+ P) d& }! k3 y0 Y0 Tpeacefully resolve conflicts and develop healthy relationships in their communities.3 J0 o! Z. i4 U$ w& |
The YOUCAN VERTO Project is a Government of Canada and Government of Albertafunded
1 O4 Y( \' N, y
. v: d* S1 O+ D$ s' uproject that will bring at-risk youth together into a unique 15 -week groupbased
% ?- z' i* P- ~8 `5 {employability skills program entitled “The VERTO Project”.4 U, N$ v* t" I1 S* @, s
The goal of the VERTO Program is to assist participants in obtaining and maintaining
' h* C4 f, i) G4 E8 athe skills necessary to bring success into their lives. Verto program will expose
' l# ~, S7 z! `+ M. K+ Dparticipants to a wide range of components focusing on: employment development,
5 `+ ~ Z% u8 z# T$ T' mpersonal wellness, technology learning, conflict resolution, and exposure courses.' e7 q* H* o2 ] R3 Z
Additionally, we will incorporate topics around health and wellness, volunteerism,
/ v. t- |0 X( h& {0 D1 o" i% ^( xand leadership courses. Verto youth will be provided with a six-month employment' a1 q! l9 H9 }" G4 J$ O
follow-up once the program is completed.

Verto project will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the
