2 ~- m' z2 X+ L- Z: vAn Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.

: c8 V/ J* m. ~$ |2 T& F2 CWalter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.' Q/ K& W# N$ }# l* p7 {7 P

0 `% f# Z3 s- g8 x, }2 r0 FThe 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.

- u$ D4 }& r7 ~' _The charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.
