JOB SUMMARY:
Working closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

3 W  i9 i2 W# B! QJOB DUTIES:
        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
4 v3 c. s  z* d1 k# q0 S/ [        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
- J, w# U% X9 f! q' K+ r. C        Operational communication with all Transport providers
        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
& B4 `. F8 |% V# v9 w        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;
        Other duties as assigned.

7 f0 L  g1 f, L9 t) C  KQUALIFICATIONS:
) m9 q( A* R& }/ A' c        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)

        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
        Dependability and proficiency in current position.
