 Continuously interact with all clients in the Resource Area to ensure that their job search requirements are being met.

 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers

 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.: k2 }, y1 r/ t2 A8 o) ]1 h5 t
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.8 g) A- I3 P- T! {2 p6 v+ Y1 G

 Attend multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings, as required

 Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.

 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.2 ^( {# E- L; t7 l  Y1 H6 O4 `9 S+ L
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.+ |, \5 L1 L8 w- y8 J+ a1 q
 Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

 Interact with participants on a continuous basis so that the Service Plan progress can be monitored throughout the program and into the follow up period

 Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment
3 x( ~' z+ y% Q* G5 D Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada
" S& ?# T. c1 Z' }3 I Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants
# C4 H+ m, P' L1 b- w5 k Complete participant reviews with the participants
) k4 k. s! T6 D8 l Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion; _7 c/ O1 H4 K8 s; |) U
