First Year Crewmembers (50-60 Positions)

2 l/ C5 S# o6 M/ n3 [% l  U8 CQualifications: You are between 16 and 18 years of age as of July 4, 2006. You must be enrolled full-time in (or graduating from) high school (Grade 10 - 12) and be interested in pursuing a career in the environmental sciences.

Dates: July 4 - August 18, 2006

Responsibilities:
3 ]  u0 W$ p4 L) C' V9 x- Work on projects such as protecting communities from wildfire, tree planting, site reclamation, non-native plant control, and trail construction
8 z/ P/ g; H! u' N  N" H: }- Participate in educational programs including tours, presentations and outtrips
- Learn and demonstrate safe working practices with equipment and projects

Note: These positions are temporary, summer employment opportunities. Meals, tent accommodation, and transportation are provided.
