An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.

Police charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.

: S2 h) E6 D- b9 l+ g l$ v% a2 Q8 M& qThe 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week.

7 m- y6 y' Q! u; M: GIn a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo.
