Graphic Design Specialist
Permanent full-time

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

" p/ O; c0 K* s+ k) a- o1 y, S, e* h" SDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 [7 E$ A7 B" H0 h% T•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
5 S  r# ?9 K! ?5 s•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

- [0 Y" n) G7 N; X6 p& e! PSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
& t8 \" h1 @/ b•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
6 x) N% s" r$ ]+ G& L•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
6 w/ ~, ?' f& Y•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
. D  }  o: j9 v. i4 s0 `•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
