Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

3 T- |* _# U9 ~2 S+ _% ITo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

3 Q" Q( K- S, R, k. Z/ tMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
7 q0 y2 ?7 c7 Y9 w) V+ ?Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
( m, B7 L1 e$ w: {6 j! hSchool)
; \  e$ }+ i1 N/ FMust have supervisory experience
8 k# i9 Z1 T4 i. ^, Z8 jMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
) `! X- z1 N' R9 X% JMust be computer literate
7 o8 f( Y2 h- y/ C3 B4 m8 ^0 jMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
. R) y. Q% P. ~1 U2 ^- \7 KMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
% X; q7 y# R8 FMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
establish team.

Wages according to qualification and experience
