Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
1 B+ r6 T7 S" Xplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal1 a: v" r& R) @3 i- A/ T* K
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).4 O4 M+ Z; B) x3 O1 {* I7 _. e' q
: g+ c g# ~, t4 s+ q4 T
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.0 s8 R4 r/ n5 \$ X

Job Qualification
+ o( o( O" b; A0 ^Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
& Q4 W: x6 T) M) j! `% e4 ?Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s; O! N: A7 G. q( t! {; m3 p: N8 A% W
School)0 d2 q$ K7 r' h5 V6 ^/ T! g& P) }0 h4 f
Must have supervisory experience. S0 |5 J: s+ L. l1 [$ K; A- `9 `/ r
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system0 m; w& c/ l/ ?
Must be computer literate
$ l) n! k) f( y4 U6 f* _Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ J4 G8 r. X' j3 \ a8 {# _) ]Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network" S9 `* I, w: }
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
% f! T* ]/ c# m# n9 z+ ^Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already8 E" z5 N4 s0 M3 Y7 e7 \
