Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
) L: D+ \5 x4 z& Y8 R) e- kplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal5 ~. `+ B1 C3 N0 g3 G" H
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
t! T6 W: K3 R* ?, @: ? ^8 z' Y9 M1 S- J N9 J3 S, W
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 S: H9 a, B* o1 n* v& r3 v3 o
/ g4 t+ ^; `' h6 F, \Job Qualification H2 }/ z- K6 r4 J* f! A
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
4 `- \# r2 S# Z7 F" dMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% ]4 l9 |) f' { s. E" pSchool)
; b9 I& W' U; A. {, |+ cMust have supervisory experience; P1 j' J+ Q5 W# ~) M
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system! p3 x5 T4 E) p: M/ h8 J
Must be computer literate; ~/ c1 U6 N" \+ L6 c% p k8 o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
