QA and technical writer position

Brief Description of Job Duties:  Responsible for providing server
support and software validation testing on existing and new products.
The successful candidate will work primarily with J2EE technologies on
) S. d( x9 x" _developed web-based software. Specific responsibilities include
configuration and maintenance of lab equipment, test planning, test
design, ASP/JSP development, test execution and reporting.

Skills Required:    Working knowledge of setup, administration and
6 \" m- j% U1 }deployment of JBoss, WebSphere and/or WebLogic Application Servers is
required, as is expertise on Linux and Windows and Solaris servers.
) h% a; c; f$ A- VExperience with network documentation and planning and expertise with
5 _, `$ e5 g+ D) K2 k) y# X: GWindows Active Directory is a plus. Some object-oriented or Java
) a1 N% H& Z9 W% G) O- w! @! Xprogramming experience would also be an asset.

Experience Required:  Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering or

of QA process and software development life cycle.

1 y4 N$ u! S: w( lapplication documentation.  (Online help systems and technical notices.)

* _4 |- i! o( ~7 [Skills Required:  Strong research, writing, editing, and technical
skills.  Familiarity with software development processes and software
- n" W3 N0 |/ L; h  _' h; @  itechnologies.  Experience with documentation authoring tools such as
Dreamweaver, Robohelp, and Framemaker.  Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience Required:  Minimum of 8+ years experience writing
# r9 j, \' _# edocumentation in a formal technical writing environment, with a recent
focus on documenting web-based applications.

The candidate will work with other writers, developers, and test
engineers in a team environment to create documentation for technical
and end-user audiences.
