% }& v; v" o8 @& A- B1 ? Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
7 K2 C0 k, V2 ~) U3 T% r8 F Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
; I1 ~  V+ ?  k! t0 f- X6 b3 ]4 M+ a8 o Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
2 g* ^+ p( a$ L/ Y Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
7 V9 T% z' m- u% l7 f& Q. I Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

Qualifications
 Social work degree or diploma
 Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
, B! f8 t1 `/ R7 W. V Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
 Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
# q9 t: x1 P8 h) I2 D+ P Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
 Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
