Duties
7 L( U) A& e6 m% a2 fDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
) ^# s: w/ ~6 f9 x ~- D8 sObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
1 e7 ~ C% m$ k, R, m5 o. G. lEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound8 V! `" F7 T5 {0 V) q) O2 }' @
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
6 a: B( w* K2 W& q+ U S hOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
* A3 D8 ?- N9 dPerforms related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

. h# ~. X# O: r" cCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
