+ _/ O7 E: K Y# r- H' TDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
! ^8 j5 U9 q3 C& v8 o- J, c# L! V: RObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
9 [/ v1 J8 K. [3 f. d* v5 k: ]Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
9 S: K. @. _# | \1 S) pPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead# A3 x. s) |# C; N% F8 i3 H6 E
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions5 T9 J5 w' m. q$ u2 M0 ~/ S/ c
Performs related duties as required+ M4 W" ~$ t/ r) q9 h
Qualifications
. j" O" s' ^+ Y- r# ?' e; oValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
