Duties, T' l8 C8 E; h I# k/ v3 u
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
5 k: d1 g! W L- v$ F' W. P( jObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
4 `7 {) i4 W1 k3 d( }+ O7 V6 m' x( YEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound1 s$ i- U1 Z. n" n
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
- J" _* Y" m' ]; o; H: o% pOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions! z6 C1 R% X# g: r0 x' }
Performs related duties as required

High School diploma; previous driving experience required
( w5 o6 J9 p% X- CCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification0 U0 n+ V3 O8 T# q& y1 l1 ], V8 C5 E
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
