Duties
/ Z, Z2 i5 j% }$ w' I" ^1 ~) qDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items. ?# u2 `$ S9 E8 T7 h% O/ `
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
5 o0 H' u9 R, E7 cEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound, }5 b5 u" S2 D. B$ q- k8 M
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead; M5 k; U8 [' t- b O
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions4 j) k+ z; h4 F
Performs related duties as required. ^! I# y# `0 g5 l3 R
Qualifications
/ D+ b9 N; l% X3 Q- R2 yValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

) X" E- `8 Y0 a7 C eCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
