Duties
: V- X- m4 c0 l' kAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation). X3 i" L" [! O$ M' {* g
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
; l3 z# O/ D2 u' @ ZPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed* r6 e1 L) J* t/ X! p5 b! n
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred9 b' _2 P- ~+ g" ]+ h: {" x+ [
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
5 ]# F, A! e8 ^7 V# W8 l/ t" ]Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset4 N [, |1 |4 S% e) B7 L
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
