Duties
4 N$ h* U- c9 p n& P1 UAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ I: U# U, z. I- N/ ^/ m
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
+ O& I& ^0 I+ U7 A3 K% _Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications
" x* c$ t' e( V: cDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred; C- R' ? N8 b( W$ X" ~
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred, Z4 P# R9 f r2 K: p+ t6 x
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
* `8 h; t* M' o7 s, nKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
1 [( E/ Y% |" v5 Z3 WFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
