Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)9 e+ r; j4 z; \3 P5 H
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required4 k: l' f* d& K8 z
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed7 B' L* G' x a: l
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
% ?' a' }5 x: H4 `Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred, J4 ^/ }* [. G$ k* `* r
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
U& N8 `- s8 n& fKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
