■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
( }1 I( R7 c. z% O. e■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
0 H# L. j, } V: E■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships9 u; J8 h0 j' L& Y( Y6 d7 c# ]
Experience and Education:
* o0 L9 X' f6 }; I" N6 X$ X n; q* _■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
6 a6 E, N$ r5 g: f■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.) [" B5 j/ c) O/ k" R" T) a/ t. W
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
' y7 _, w. f0 G/ e( Y& _7 l0 t■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;0 a" p' k; N! w$ ^! @& G% W
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
& J+ B/ ^ K3 q: {■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.7 C" R& i" v2 v1 `
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.' S# I9 I; G j4 `4 w% `6 y
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.( j, w+ v: t+ _+ t* w
