Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

/ E2 n: n; w9 x. V3 n- o) F6 ]' nResponsibilities
- k1 U4 w# c  v5 t# \0 }■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
) Z! G& n( L1 H% y5 k■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
4 j. i& L$ @# t0 M, ~/ q7 yExperience and Education:
6 o, R  |$ C, S" @9 s2 u. a& l■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
* u6 ]; }9 Q) z% o# X. _# I■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
9 H# v, a7 G1 }! M1 t) I# x■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
* N& u3 F6 ^1 k1 v9 P& i7 `9 H■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
