 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.; d* E* |, F% l/ s& N
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
- `* A( L R- ?) O Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.- w% k0 w) Y3 A; V' y
 Completing required paperwork.: V( m5 O8 N' k* {4 g J; M
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.! y& l* s$ ?, x
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures./ ?; C" P3 m. x# L
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
. o9 ^) ]; s1 z/ ~ Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.( p) U0 y: ?: b" }5 v& E
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

8 q& T4 n4 S n Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
9 f3 W! H' W, Q' ?, | Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
" ~, L" J3 P p0 F- ? Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.5 ^, `: [. S3 u, U7 ]1 B* H. f
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.2 ?5 t, J7 H7 ?
 Knowledge of community resources.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; ! A9 J2 u5 J; n. e2 m1 a$ e9 i
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period. |
