The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. # E u5 [- B& B- B- p8 x3 R

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" M, d$ Y2 \( ]& J
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
3 A% a! r! G! f) a. e• Input and manage high volume of data$ Z! k. X4 s9 b: c e
• Update and maintain databases
2 N$ h' a; r& `5 X9 C3 m• Generate monthly reports and statistics
! Q0 n0 Y0 J; A4 d4 H: j" E• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation% [4 h$ A; l/ n( a/ R: J& U
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
) Z' o0 }5 \7 ]0 j% a. y• Write and revise business correspondence and forms6 c/ @% j' y: Y# J$ V' {& e# S5 c
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors _7 r) c- o- B, u1 y" a
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

' f; h" O& z6 P$ w; N5 F- [• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
) k! [, Q1 y% n+ t+ `! i# l• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
1 h- ^; ~4 E: g• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8 o; M: r! v" _, v) y• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
p$ e; |/ J/ X5 k) W5 u+ k• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities0 S5 w2 T9 p' h9 E- _0 W6 H. t
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
