The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

* Y0 N1 z7 v2 y; I• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required! c1 k5 o. n4 i4 J. ^% x) z
• Answer multi line telephone system0 C+ w1 P1 R' R* e8 K# l- x

Administration:$ i; I3 L6 j% N. W1 ~
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
6 [8 p. r. a% `0 C• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
! E# x5 M, [- ?( C+ k• Input and manage high volume of data
+ K6 X6 ?0 V# e2 j& k4 G• Update and maintain databases- c' B& {" _' W0 Z0 x P
• Generate monthly reports and statistics1 o! Y- t1 Q' W, Z0 h4 Z" S
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation" ]0 r) m/ Z+ x6 C/ R& L" o" F
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits |8 @% C# p5 G, T3 g- [6 I3 m" M5 O
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms" a3 O7 I }! p# s: l4 n s: X
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors! C' h8 k/ a2 w" Q5 Z
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre) ?% q' r' \% A
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure. ]8 ~' ^1 H3 f, h# ?: W' F& P+ A# P
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
' I5 ]" Q2 I2 i- M; f7 x) M6 s• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" I" C4 T q- O2 Y' R1 y% ?# l& L# R• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work# k) h1 \1 c0 L5 E
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population2 r/ Z/ n/ W7 W5 }! w7 u
• Strong customer service skills: T |3 a6 C" @+ L# O
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
