The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 4 D- M5 j: n0 }

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
! P) u' {% y$ m0 R* y• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required; e" N; u* i2 q
• Answer multi line telephone system4 `1 N+ F3 D, o. ?
$ T# D) E; `& D) T; MAdministration:9 _/ C5 b% B0 u# Q/ q. c* M; h% H
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads* p4 C8 n/ s5 A, d
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
- y1 F( i n5 D( Y; z- q• Input and manage high volume of data! L$ _: F# R: ~+ P
• Update and maintain databases
# Z( F' N7 N4 e$ ^; L• Generate monthly reports and statistics6 y; L p. z& }' b! v
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
+ k$ H8 X- L: K4 k% z, T• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
- X. o, ~+ r6 R/ \' i) e• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
& @: J/ s* H: {• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
4 b7 [' m; n B1 }7 o• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

Qualifications:

4 w; e. ^( l$ k" c+ ?# f• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
7 {- |: O7 u3 m& W* W, Y6 f• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS $ N$ R* Y4 U. @; N, T5 b, _( c
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; B& H* {& V/ @4 a- \
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work& j0 V; R, x- @: J4 t
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
