Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

! K* h2 E% R" c, T- H4 pWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
% g0 {: p7 l# v) F  K) VReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
- x0 K' d0 o% b% j2 _' i1 @Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications

8 C. T9 t' A% V' RGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
; ~2 z; ]: k+ x) z5 U) L% vMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
  X5 q6 ^* y3 d0 |Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
  p- i- X8 d0 X3 qUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
, @; b$ p0 @" ]5 S  J9 ZCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
