Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

" v: k% N, }; U6 XWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
) @! U+ W2 y3 H. a" N2 kResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
, _7 |7 M! [0 s; c8 p9 yMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

+ O3 o# E+ b( @. ]6 T0 V- DQualifications
. i" b9 ]: \5 G
Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) ?& k4 _6 R  ?+ N* CUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
