Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

. H% I8 Z0 n0 n" X: P$ q+ ^Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, P. G5 o. [2 h5 ^  C5 H8 a* MReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
5 [5 r0 L9 j! U' WResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
+ N( F. _* Z& [: c2 `( q/ b/ HMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

Qualifications
6 \5 l' m" Z' M# P
Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
" ^: T0 D, E9 ~, M0 u" c9 ]. X) [8 zMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
$ H$ g! M/ [6 [* GUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
8 ^0 Q* B" q1 B5 @! e+ W: }Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
