Major Responsibilities:

• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;$ F2 X# |6 F/ B- t, ~9 @% r, Q4 w: H
• Equipment fabrication guidance;" e( ]/ [3 \4 ^2 j
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;' K2 V$ N! d( K. ^9 U
• Others.

Qualifications:$ ^4 ]# H7 h2 E9 E: t) D
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. & O+ ?: ~3 L/ Z) C) s& F: T5 N
• Equipment design experience is required;
. A3 P. c. M/ J8 Z1 L: A/ E• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;; g8 x6 c) K% v Y6 h a- L
• Familiar with CAD software;0 W/ k: V- l. c; c# v* L- b
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;6 W5 t, {, v6 L, g( K
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 1 e: v" T+ p# F9 X3 a+ B
