• Process research equipment design;0 t0 @7 D& M+ ?/ e' `9 U
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
1 l/ L4 Y! e5 s; X• Equipment fabrication guidance;
7 |; L/ c9 E6 V0 d6 \8 h! O* y• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;" R9 P/ `- O: E# N5 k4 ^& n5 i

Qualifications:2 `6 \4 y" y* v) z. \5 x9 b e
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. # H4 y/ V ?% x9 z- K
• Equipment design experience is required;5 \2 X" Z$ k; U8 a! @# H- J) U
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
. S, R& U8 V3 f' m# q1 I& b• Familiar with CAD software;) E0 _! v. o- ~ j, O- W
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;1 i1 P, B9 q) s
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
