• Familiarize with the assigned process units
. F* R- W$ d0 B' G/ s( o• Support the process engineer/contact engineer in the process monitoring of the assigned unit. 7 f) S# t: }) U5 U/ u
• Reconcile unit material balance, energy consumption, utility consumption, chemical consumptions, yield etc.
+ b [* y* Y; C" ?7 p# d• Assist with incident investigations by way of data gathering, determining sequence of events etc.
$ i% s8 M6 o& g: ~• Publish daily/weekly/monthly performance reports on selected areas of plant operation
/ [& \& y3 y4 W! w) V• Use simulation tools to simulate existing process operations.
% P# A1 g; _+ H" ]' n• Undertake different jobs assigned time to time by process/contact engineers
) c- q( t: ]; h1 d• Take up small study projects and prepare reports
