Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
3 K+ B/ q0 F4 F9 x' o- r' fManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
. R# l" z) c/ i- @The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
  ^! ^6 |. @, m2 O% wŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
) W# d0 T$ J0 T% b4 o% [: vthe organization;
4 [- T0 {# C1 e3 R; v3 m' dŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
7 {* }4 k" p6 X) C4 jsupport;
; u0 F, K4 t! _) a& sŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
6 h! ~; a, v) Himplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
! y+ w; Y/ Y7 T0 j9 QŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
0 t. X- J+ E: T6 V$ x8 B5 O2 sŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
5 C- v* a/ k- Q) D7 p. F# qŸ Other duties as required.
5 ~# E3 x, D4 r* D0 DQualifications:
  u* }. S- O: H. Z# s2 KŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
7 B1 n1 ?, n0 _, wŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
% {9 }3 _5 n1 f- yLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 W' j/ J' A/ w0 q) e$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
