Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
2 p" `3 ~7 l- Y* x# AManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
  e# [/ y, |1 Mment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
& g5 z1 q' q; M5 y% u3 Y, [The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
$ {- b$ I: z3 W6 \* T  B% v0 ~Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
/ B- f1 c' H+ j$ q5 w6 o7 ^) I0 sthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
  K  o1 m" ]1 n  l( o( ]5 Q8 Z# Jimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
' S5 F* `# ?, C4 DŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
0 v( T# U) d0 z' ^- \Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
# O( h5 u* L2 q, z8 e0 t" qŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
: [6 @2 u0 s' }6 ~1 u) NŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
5 D& ~+ O3 W( [( WLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
7 z; H' o8 I% S  r$ {! n0 g+ r$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
# {* f9 ~& ]- sIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
$ ?" L' A& x( _% C) x' ydriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
