Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
% ~. O) H7 B, G" z; wManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
7 n4 f3 |" z+ |  Z. o- uŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
: p; M3 O1 e% V# i5 }: \6 eŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
& c1 J1 {6 ]# Y* y5 ZŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
3 \% E! p' r0 k& X( ]Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
. J% l3 [3 V9 D9 W3 Gimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
2 j: C/ [! v3 O; W7 SŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
) r3 g) H2 C) T# F6 K) `: R) y, zŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
: [) r+ f& H2 b2 d" @& heducation and experience;
0 [" A8 I) w$ j- N. h( GŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
2 ^7 C* e* P6 P0 x8 b2 v* E- CŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
, `$ L! o1 W( HŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
3 r* x) l9 \2 ~( ^+ B  X& l9 Bverbal and written.
. ^1 H$ K& |2 C; @" oLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
) h9 c! n% }" N4 sIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
! @5 e4 b9 N1 [2 N  t! r, A0 w; Ksuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
