Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
( d3 D8 H; O3 a* e* I, rment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
0 T; T) z4 X4 v& S# ^+ {the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
, K1 c, |8 z9 m7 O* y+ rŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
- q  P  O  r0 S1 a' hŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
5 J: C# t# B7 n& s2 |7 Eimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

Qualifications:
; H/ S2 e/ V5 o+ QŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
( x% x, G1 s& u! |Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
