Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical

Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
+ S. e  F& H" b3 i& a7 y1 BŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
% \. w) j1 U2 M- Z# oŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- E" b7 h% g9 x; `* uŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
7 B  r0 R+ L+ ~* X# weducation and experience;
# W& s2 l$ {3 ]8 [Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
' F4 \3 a; R! I6 h! k0 P/ AŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
* P$ R4 v$ O1 K+ Y& M# C! K7 q& c! yŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
+ Y% q+ ?- q- X8 HLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
