Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
. J, }& Y  v8 k/ \Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
% K7 n8 p' f( I8 r9 P+ H9 i8 Hment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
# g  a. @# H1 C+ c% y2 MŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
9 o0 E) v  q5 X' `3 GŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
6 o6 L, K& D, A' q- qsupport;
  F' T- [5 H5 G( A* K2 q0 JŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
/ U, e9 S0 r- v* R) ?* F! jŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
+ Z+ c2 `! z! v! X% N* X" uŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
, Z0 j3 A7 M7 o% K  IŸ Other duties as required.
% H# T$ n' y, nQualifications:
/ d+ t* U/ v+ @' m1 P6 _Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
) O0 n; I/ t2 E# G- J$ CŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
; p  I+ h/ v. l3 r: wŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
5 S$ U  K  ^4 H3 Z7 _: rverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
  O4 ~$ o: [0 n3 N- U$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
5 ~, p+ a6 \$ PIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
. ]4 S/ x: P* b$ P9 V" ndriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
