Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
# o2 _* ]7 v$ l( MPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
2 u) W2 K- g$ CExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
- R4 t6 e: v) w1 l. d0 B% mExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
4 }' T( N  K5 S4 q/ uExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
7 T5 q" z& c3 ~( qComputer proficiency
( Z6 s  A6 p  C! J0 YStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
% X3 l7 |, o3 Y# u4 Y9 L5 ZDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
$ ?3 k0 Y! u) E$ gDisplay positive self-concept
