Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
- ^% Q7 `/ j0 D4 @Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
6 O1 Q+ t) f6 w7 n4 a7 B" SExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
6 Q7 ?% n4 V/ L& B8 }; T9 g( RStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
) z* q5 V1 }9 {. N5 R6 A6 |- ]Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
& c+ U5 M* j5 R! x& ]4 XDisplay positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
