Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
7 ~8 F+ h; a, Q3 x0 UPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields 2 ` |2 K# J7 P" S2 r! b. L
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
9 I$ H% M) {4 C% _ p/ `Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants $ ^# Y- N2 \# P
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6 g5 M/ T" K- E/ I* N9 DExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
