Dr. Alan Kazdin, Director of Yale Parenting Centre, received James McKeen Cattell Award at Association of Psychological Science (APS) in Boston last week and made a brief award-accepting (and laughter filled) speech. * @) d0 i( W" D' G+ M1 `' u+ z: ?- D) n& s3 J0 Z3 H
Kazdin is known for his 40 years research on parenting method with defiant children. Last year he was also recognized by American Psychological Association (APA) with an award.7 J, a! _3 B2 z+ d# Q3 x) W
