Job Purpose
. g  b6 _7 g( TEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
3 |/ _8 ^9 m' tthe Store Manager.
/ M+ p$ V3 Z1 Y0 C8 {' a+ bDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
% W9 [5 T! w( ]! V• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
$ {& r, T! F6 w! R# j4 }6 y4 B: e• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
4 L* p* k) {- R' Q- Clooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
7 s6 H( h$ a- Y• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
( T% v: T: H7 T0 v; ^( q• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
! E# O0 a8 N7 S, z' ^% I; C- p# d  z# N• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
9 D% d0 T; p1 M3 ~• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
( T" y8 v+ e4 h6 S• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
2 G3 h& g4 [8 I( j2 v; U• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
: ~* M$ d& z2 N2 M+ Ichanges in strategies

2 B! l! ?, A5 d$ t: K8 z• Fast paced environment
% V; t" s: j8 q& D• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
