Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
" x& M4 H, K9 K Responsibilities  
2 S7 j- g/ u4 u+ k3 P& m* ^- [ Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

6 J4 E! E4 b, R/ K  _9 YOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

7 b# T/ C* |9 O Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

+ @9 Z( D7 I5 K3 |10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

- o- U2 g$ G. \' o. P8 o; OGas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
; }# K4 P. s& Y1 Z. w
6 y( k1 W  `* ~* N+ kExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

6 e) N1 l1 s& l. H) jStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
