Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

9 G  J/ V: u6 F9 p; m& R7 @, PKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 |7 n; D' \8 }6 D; Q) Z  u% W        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
3 J+ U; I! X4 p7 O3 Z7 T% b        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
8 x! y) h/ y3 Y* b& D; U        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
+ @0 \1 _8 e7 U" ^( r% ?        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

8 z5 o' [# n% ~( ~0 [# G  IQUALIFICATIONS:
: i. n5 Y0 w" Y" a2 C" T•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
9 O4 A" y9 y- G9 p0 }•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
% ?8 ~& U( J/ A% `) `: K& [•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
; l, u( v2 Y1 T* N& z•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
