Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

! }; q) E  c7 b0 m9 Z9 r" D* ]KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, |9 m5 J9 d6 y: u+ g6 E        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
' c( }; F! \! `! V* u•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
  N7 u4 ^3 o# o' C3 c•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
8 N5 G. ^8 t, I7 Q•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
6 a. G1 a& F0 W4 ?•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
" q; m& W/ j5 r; e0 K; l•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
& Y- z$ r' N2 }. c4 h3 r% q•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
. y2 j& I4 H% r$ N- S$ `+ q•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
