$ Z$ v' @( f& ]# l2 m8 S$ jReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

+ W8 z. y% {8 `KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
4 U  o0 t+ P5 O. g6 p2 n5 `        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
2 N" @; \0 ~: i, M8 z) W5 p4 Z' c        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
" |' Q7 b' k/ f& D6 M5 _        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
4 K, l1 p9 P# j; b7 L•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
( ~# p6 g1 Y9 _9 @9 e& g4 t) N•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
+ Y! z6 z# U# l  H•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
5 ~+ C% J  N& i•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
$ N. T# J; N2 M9 l& j* h) ~•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
