Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

# K. L) D( Z9 z- a7 j, e& YKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
' c, c8 t" t7 x5 N        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
2 ~3 u# S  b  N; j        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
/ c1 ]: _7 w& o; @) ^' {- [# u•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
) w: f) O& B1 e9 ?8 w7 {•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
( f, o0 c1 e, B7 H•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) v. D% N9 l% R% R! E- g6 ^/ z" v•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
