i use it on highway most of time, only once it alarmed and 1 cop came from opposite direction. it about 5 sec time ahead. i found out it helps a little, not much. because it gives u fause singal some time, and u dont know where the heck the laser beam come from.
as i know, the radar is not legal to use in canada, only ok in some area in usa. so, i'm not use it in city, cops can stop u and give u ticket if they see u use it and they are boring.......

radar detector is ILLEGAL in Canada. It is illegal to have it installed, no matter you use it or not!

If you buy radar detector anyway, only the high end products: V1, Escape 8500 are useful.

Detectors are legal in all states except Virginia and the District of Columbia. They're legal in the following Canadian provinces as well: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.

It's legal in Alberta. Buy an expensive one (over 200) and there will be much less noisy.

It paid itself by one ticket.
