3 `. s1 D2 t1 U/ }" F2 bAround 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.$ I$ `1 e/ N: N
$ P7 j3 ~4 U; w# x0 [/ \* BFire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.4 `( P1 C0 G# p1 }
% W/ L% f' e. B- A- Q"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."9 a+ \0 U9 ]" A* X

$ N2 u; ?( g( n0 F& Y5 ]# KWilson says fire rescue responded with trucks from three houses because of the flammable chemicals housed in the building.

' D a( x F' E! [/ x" s+ U/ A7 r* k"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."
