刚听说，有人用莲子种出了莲花

我也找了找，家里还真有莲子，我找了个饱满的泡上了，希望也能发芽。挺有意思的，大家也试试，看是不是真的能发芽

我刚用小碟子和一把小石子，将泡发的莲子固定住。莲子和石子坐在小碟子里，莲子顶部在水面上。看看能不能出芽。

如果能发芽，当碗莲种。

Its seed coat is hard and thick, you have to grind off the tip (germination point) a bit before soaking in water, this will ease and speed up the germination.

If you mean those from chinese groceries store, it may not be possible to germinate, I guess they are dried and the protective seed coat was peeled off. They are lifeless food stuff.

我今天买藕啦。 把藕根泡泡，看能不能出根。

They were previously frozen, I guess. I have tried without success.
