The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.* b8 e5 [3 E& U9 i0 Y

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
) _, I5 s! `. g§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 9 g* N# A* P" |/ y8 H# o v
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation# g- d5 K7 q4 q
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times: z5 D) g% B/ g- X% ~
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk' a+ Y3 z) t: l- R- n5 R: ^
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert% v7 }( y/ d8 K; e; ~
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties
! L3 b- h4 s6 ^§ Special projects as required7 x; F% G# d1 a) v4 ?+ s# m
§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls9 n! n" s4 X1 b+ Z

Qualifications:
% D" [& i# k0 F§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience: p# Q1 T+ k/ R/ T
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision# e- N' [' r; ^9 K3 q) e1 S; N% U0 [
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service4 W* l1 d& a. c6 ]
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
4 T1 m2 O. V( a- ~+ A( Q+ Y§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:

$ ~/ ?4 y9 N5 R§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
0 m+ ?$ U5 V# a! H6 C8 u' k5 [5 p# G§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports- g! G' q, ]8 C2 ]/ y
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
7 x; B. U- \; Q) P5 x8 T: O7 l: @: S8 X§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Coordinate and support end user training
