) n0 b9 S7 M0 u: }The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
+ C7 l a# P A- U9 s§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers" W- p) l- j( h) E
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
' _( P2 V( N5 }% v8 Q( e§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation% v+ ?2 s. u4 Q0 z1 s! U
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
$ } w1 a9 ?; l§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
, o, U# \1 I# e6 Z5 _§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

Qualifications:
: {, u7 s0 J# @§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
# d' J) B, O! {9 G3 Z4 m§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision' l: }# t2 t+ x3 i( L
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service0 F+ M: I3 u n
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues1 O, v+ ], J) c
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware. [1 F& @# J) g: Q, Y
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software b5 n' x/ |, ]% {% @8 c' V, L
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

; c9 @; {" ]# uThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives/ t5 M# v& Y9 R/ @2 g
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
+ _8 A, p! Z7 N M§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation( q& U) ~/ \* H& Q3 E( O
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
' x+ k5 W L0 M§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times8 N$ Z" P6 u# l% q
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
1 O' W \4 E& I4 c. ?§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures

§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
