% e. y+ W" f/ V) o& w% T: HOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

1 c( v0 l& A" Y; C$ aBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

; t5 j7 v4 w% }8 y' `learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ; V- C( D% m/ g0 ~% w
digging for and examining fossils . w& N7 Q- T! y' v5 B9 Y
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 4 t9 E& |! a" q, h
investigating insects / u( B' w2 G8 d7 |
and much more!4 G' B2 q- y; H: s) c
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation. I& T7 }6 g, b2 t% i* A F
1 Z7 ? h+ Q8 E- P& F$ f, PScience Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
