On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.( {& v& \7 n2 b7 g- r }" z5 r _; A, H
6 K6 s9 E4 ~2 Y. f) X6 eBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
# Z" b- I: k" X' ~8 k! \: bdigging for and examining fossils " K& Q0 `4 D9 E+ c0 `+ } L
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
) \( X0 V6 l8 X5 T) |investigating insects

# ?9 Z0 H- N6 ^8 m( w& H* |“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.$ ^$ g( L1 B) I; l5 u0 Y
- F" j0 n2 o, Q, IScience Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
