But some people prefer Schweser study note (http://www.schweser.com/cfa/) to prepare for the exam. You may be able to buy these notes much cheaper from china.

+ d. y6 e" L% S2 f. i2 CDon't feel scared at the beginning. The level I and II exams are all Multiple choice questions (one out of 3 choices), should be easier for us.

I think it expensive, so better make sure about if it is helpful for your caeer. Good luck.

The notes change very little from year to year. my friend used 2004 notes and passed the 2009 level I. Amazing? :)

Thank you for your information. You said it is expensive, can you tell me more about how expensive it is gonna be.
And how many years does it take to pass? I heard at least 7 years? Plus you need 4 years' related working experience to become qualified for the final certificate.

I am not feeling scared for any exam. The only thing is that I really lack related background and knowledge and I have to do it from the very beginning.

But you have to finish the level iii exam within 7 years, otherwise, they delete your record, and you have to restart from level i again. many people simply pass level i or ii, and use that as a stepping stone on their resume. once they get a job offer, they may not pursue the program any more.

No matter what is your background (quantitative background including engineering/math/CS could be an advantage), get an MBA + CFA + good english, you may be a portfolio manager someday. But this needs really really hard work. Best wishes
