Job description:
3 ~2 P# q8 j0 @. `+ _. r: n- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications2 n; h2 i" k* x* @- ^2 l8 y
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
% D* s8 |( P. l- S- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects6 l8 g7 i. H/ q% x U$ F
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
8 ^* q/ J& p" s) T- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
+ S% C1 x( {5 \% W% t5 S. t- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
; J2 R9 e2 }9 ~& g2 ~3 l$ F- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
