- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
: b5 p& W; Q0 F" F- o- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects9 I) h; Q/ a+ S9 l& u- W
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions+ c& Y! B; @* T8 x v
- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects# C- r! W0 O5 z7 ]# ?
- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices# p8 B( n* A+ h. y
