; z2 j: U% U' `9 ATerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).

; I% c6 i1 M; f% v2 k0 ]) p, [6 YResponsibilities:
-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
& B7 y7 U% u7 D* l8 L-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health


Key Qualifications:
! f, ^  b9 u2 M1 u2 I$ z" U-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
1 {, O. a; T- }-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
/ C6 F# r# Z. o' l9 z5 x) w+ S-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
+ V2 B% V4 T4 R: l5 }: G7 b9 h-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license


Assets:
-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
! C4 }2 u6 e' J& h7 _3 n-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
7 |, ^( t5 u, N8 X1 {4 i' r. C-        Skills in marketing & promotions
) m. `$ g; v9 ?9 H+ Z% |-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
