9 c6 J' ^3 Q! k* Q" ^$ I- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
& w. U/ B$ q' X3 r D3 \- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
/ n/ o/ n( j. f- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
& I; Q) A3 `: m" y/ o; @- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs. O2 d: V0 E+ s) e5 u
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

" A% U' b3 b) x7 c# YKey Qualifications:
: w/ L; i2 d. \1 h* m% ~5 t0 v- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences& E3 N, `2 R" M: e& Z+ F$ D
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement2 h% t- u! O1 Z2 A4 r8 `) g
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
- x% K, z: v0 {+ `" O- Experience doing program development
: A" J* ~* M/ ]/ u" X$ f- Strong organizational and coordination skills2 K: l& V# F8 F: ~& s
- Self-directed and able to take initiative# H! N- u# t; h$ g& \+ z2 h
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation7 c; F6 H* k) L# c
- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

% G Q" K$ Z, U, J- Skills in marketing & promotions
